Checkout instructions for our guests.

   Leftover Food & Drink

   Empty any leftover food and drink from the fridge — if you have extras from a rehearsal dinner or wedding and would like to leave them to share with our cleaning staff, that's perfectly fine.

   Take Out the Garbage

   Take all kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom garbage out to the black cans by the shed. Please don't leave loose food, drinks, or diapers — bag it first.

   If the cans fill up during your stay, just text us and we'll come empty them for you. 615-904-4550

   Furniture Back in Place

   If you moved any furniture around, please be sure to move it back into its original place before leaving.

   Towels to the Laundry Room

   Gather all towels and washcloths from the bathrooms and kitchen and place them in the hamper in the laundry room.

   Fire Pit & Grill Off

   Double check that the gas is turned off on the fire pit (back porch) and the grill, if used.

   Dishes in the Dishwasher

   All dirty dishes should go in the dishwasher, except the iron skillets. You don't need to run it.

   All Fires Completely Out

   Please make sure every fire is completely out before you check out.

   Reset the Thermostats

   Turn both thermostats back to their original setting — one in the downstairs hallway, one upstairs by the bookcase.

   Lights & TVs Off

   Turn off all lights and TVs before you head out.

    Gather Your Belongings

    Double check for anything you might leave behind — electronics, phones, phone cords, jewelry, and more.

    Sign Our Guest Book

    Don't forget to share your experience with us by writing and signing our registry book on the table by the front door.

    Lock Up On Your Way Out

    Lock the door to the back porch, then turn the switch to lock the front door.
